When you schedule a 60 minute massage, do you know what you are getting? The truth is, this can vary from location to location. Every massage establishment will likely have different protocols and standards regarding the use of their time. At WM, we believe a 60 minute massage should be just that: 60 minutes.
We ensure you are getting the full amount of time by booking an extra 15 minutes with every appointment. This extra time allows us to perform a consultation before the massage, ensuring that we are able to give you a completely personalized service. This is our chance to find out exactly what it is you want from your massage. We will ask you some questions and give you the opportunity to tell us what your likes and dislikes are. If you are unsure of what you like, we will help you figure it out!
After your massage, we will discuss a treatment plan, homecare, and answer any questions you may have for us. Then we get our room ready for our next guest. We take sanitation seriously and make sure the massage table, linens, and other tools we use are properly disinfected and cleaned before each appointment begins.
The rest of the time is spent on your service. Whether it be a full body relaxing massage, or a deep tissue massage focusing on a particular area, the massage will be just what you asked for. If you like, we will use aromatherapy oils to help you relax more, or a foot treatment to keep your feet feeling great. We use hot towels in every massage (usually on the back, neck, and feet) and have several complementary products we use to help you feel your best. We ask that you arrive 15 to 30 minutes early prior to your appointment time allowing you to leisurely change into a robe and slippers and perhaps sit in the steam room and relax in our Quiet Room by the fireplace before your massage. It also allows us to start your massage promptly, giving you the full amount of time and keeping us on schedule with all of our guests throughout the day.
At WM, we appreciate our guests and recognize that you have a choice in where you get a massage. Keep in mind when booking a massage, that an “hour” is not always an hour.
